Tom Kessler is the founder of Aktalita. Tom was born in Boston, grew up in Oklahoma, and married in Mexico, moving to Guadalajara in 1981. He has worked full time in Guadalajara's electronics industries ever since. Tom received his Bachelor's degree in Physics from UT Austin.

Ana Ruiz Hernandez received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Guadalajara in May 2005. She currently works on development of the PHP user registration and ridematch GIS modules. Ana is newly married and working on plans to build a home in far eastern Guadalajara with husband Pepe.

Gerardo Gomez Castellanos just received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from ITESO Guadalajara. He is currently working on PHP utilities and integration of Aktalita's J2ME cell phone client and server modules.
